NITROAA shall be operated for educational and social well-being of the alumni of NIT Rourkela. Our mission is:
- To be a resource center in assisting talented technical graduates in coming to USA for higher studies
- To financially assist graduate students and alumni family
- To develop faculty exchange programs between NITR and universities in USA
- To promote and organize lectures at NITR on topics of interest to graduate students and faculties
- To develop special programs, as needed, to benefit NIT students, faculties and the institute.
