Dear Friends,

National Institute of Technology Rourkela Overseas Alumni Association (NITROAA) is going to hold its 4th Annual Convention in Sheraton Parsippany Hotel, New Jersey from August 4-6,2017 and I would like to invite you all with your families to come and attend the convention. Our previous conventions in Charlotte, NC, Atlanta, GA and Long Beach, CA have been grand successes and those alumni who attended the conventions are still raving about these conventions. Our New Jersey convention team led by the Convener Mr. Sribatsa Das is working very hard and leaving no stones unturned to make this convention is much better and makes it more enjoyable for you.

NITROAA conventions provides the unique opportunity to meet your old classmates and get to know other alumni from pioneer batch to most recent batch, reminisce those old nostalgic years in REC/NIT years and also, an opportunity to network. All of us have spent our formative years of our lives in REC/Rourkela and we try to recreate the old REC/NIT environment during these two convention days including a picnic on the last day. In addition to holding brainstorming sessions on how to make NITROAA more effective in accomplishing its mission, we also hold discussions on various theme-based topics and this year’s theme is “Innovation”.

This year’s convention has an added attraction, visiting the Big Apple that happens to be in the neighborhood. New York city offers many tourist attractions for people of all ages. The NITROAA convention will be very appropriate to plan for a family vacation during this summer. So, please start planning and register for the Convention.
